Boiled Red Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans White House apples (for pies)
    2 capfuls lemon juice
    1 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    red food coloring
Preparation
    Boil water, sugar, lemon juice and food coloring together. Add apples, bring to a boil again and simmer for 45 minutes.
