Yummy Fruit Salad Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can red pie cherries
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 small pkg. cherry Jell-O
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    red food coloring
    3 bananas, sliced
    1 c. chopped pecans
    2 baked pie shells
Preparation
    Drain juice from cherries.
    Add enough water to make 2 cups of liquid.
    Add cornstarch; cook until clear.
    Remove from fire.
    Add Jell-O, sugar, pineapple, cherries, food coloring, bananas and nuts.
    Pour into baked pie shell and chill.
    Serve with whipped topping.
