Gingerbread Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. molasses
1 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
4 eggs
5 c. flour
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream sugar, brown sugar, molasses, salt, soda and shortening.
Add eggs slowly and cream in mixture. Add flour, ginger and cinnamon using slowest speed on mixture. Roll dough to a 1/4-inch for small gingerbread or 1/2-inch for large gingerbread.
Cut cookies out and put on baking sheet.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until done.
Makes 3 to 4 dozen gingerbread men.
