1 c. vegetable shortening
1/2 c. butter
2 3/4 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
7 oz. 7-Up
Preparation

Cream shortening, butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time. Mix in flour and vanilla. Add 7-Up; mix well. Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes at 325\u00b0.
