Golden Cream Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. diced potatoes
    2 c. water
    1/2 c. sliced celery
    1/2 c. carrot slices
    1/4 c. onion, diced
    1 tsp. parsley flakes
    1 tsp. chicken soup base
    1/2 tsp. salt
    Dash of pepper
    1 1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
Preparation
    Combine first six ingredients in 2 or 3 quart pan.
    Mix. Cover and simmer for 15 - 20 minutes.
    Add flour to milk and mix until smooth.
    Add to vegetables.
    Cook until desired thickness. Add cheese.
    Stir until melted.
    Serves 3 - 4.
