Heavenly Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large sweet onions, sliced
    2 to 4 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1/4 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
    1/2 c. milk
    bread crumbs or croutons
Preparation
    Simmer onions in butter until tender.
    Put in 1-quart casserole and top with cheese and pepper.
    Heat soup, milk and soy sauce until blended; pour over onions.
    Mix with knife.
    Cover with bread.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
