Hickory Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    3 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. chopped hickory nuts
    4 egg whites
Preparation
    Cream butter
    and
    sugar.
    Add\tmilk.
    Sift
    flour with baking powder and add nuts.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Beat egg whites until peaks form.
    Fold in.
    Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan at 375\u00b0 for 30\tto
    35\tminutes.
    Frost
    with a chocolate boiled frosting.
