Corn Bread Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. white corn meal
    1/4 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten
    2 Tbsp. melted lard
    1 1/3 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Combine corn meal, flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Add egg, lard and buttermilk.
    Beat well.
    Pour into 2 greased corn stick pans. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Makes 14 corn sticks.
