Crisp Swedish Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or oleo
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Beat butter, sugar, salt, egg and vanilla until light and fluffy.
    Add the flour, soda and cream of tartar.
    Roll in small balls and dip in sugar.
    Flatten with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Makes 5 dozen cookies.
