Dessert A La Mexi-Can Caramel Flan - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    8 c. milk
    1 stick cinnamon
    1 tsp. Mexican vanilla
Preparation
    Caramelize 1/2 cup sugar by cooking in a large heavy skillet over low heat until melted and golden brown, stirring constantly. While still hot, spread evenly over bottom of a shallow 2-quart casserole.
    Cool.
