Bacon-Water Chestnut Appetizers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bacon
    1 can water chestnuts
    sugar
    soy sauce
Preparation
    Slice whole chestnuts in 1/2's and soak in bowl of soy sauce 1 hour or more.
    Slice bacon into 1/2 strips, longway.
    Roll each water chestnut in sugar.
    Wrap strip of bacon around and insert toothpick.
    Put chestnuts in casserole dish; pour leftover soy sauce on top.
    Cover and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Drain and return to oven 2 to 5 minutes.
    Remove from casserole dish to paper towel and then to serving dish.
