Corn Cob Jelly - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 doz. medium-size dried red cobs
2 qt. water
1 (1 1/4 oz.) box Sure-Jell
3 c. corn cob juice
3 c. sugar
Preparation

Wash cobs and cut into 4-inch lengths.
Place in container. Add 2-quarts water and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and boil slowly for 35 to 40 minutes.
Strain juice, measure out 3 cups juice into large container.
Add sugar and again bring to a boiling point.
Boil 5 minutes.
Skim.
Pour into jars and seal.
