Skillet Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. round or tenderized steak
1/4 c. plain flour
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
1/4 c. sour cream
salt and pepper to taste
1 c. chopped onions
1 can beef broth
1 small can mushrooms (optional)
Preparation

Cut steak into narrow strips. Mix salt, pepper and flour. Dredge steak strips in flour mixture. Place in skillet of hot oil. Brown on both sides. Add onions and saute until tender-crisp. Add beef broth and reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for 20 to 30 minutes. Add mushrooms; cover and simmer an additional 5 minutes. Add sour cream. Heat well; do not boil. Serve over hot rice or noodles.
