Butter Pecan Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    2/3 c. packed brown sugar
    2 c. flour
    whole pecans
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar together.
    Blend in egg.
    Stir together the flour and salt; stir into the creamed mixture. Chill for 1 hour.
    Form into 1-inch balls.
    Flatten with a fork and top with pecan half.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about 4 dozen.
