Creole Of Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. shrimp
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 medium onion, peeled and sliced thin
    1/2 medium green pepper (optional)
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 (No. 2) can or fresh tomato
    salt and pepper to taste
    hot cooked rice
Preparation
    Cook and clean shrimp.
    Melt butter in large skillet over low heat.
    Add separate onion rings and green pepper slices and cook until onion is tender.
    Sprinkle flour over vegetables in skillet and brown golden.
    Stir in tomatoes.
    Season.
    Cook slowly about 10 minutes; add shrimp.
    Serve over rice.
    Makes 4 servings.
