Tomato Cream Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. tomatoes
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 qt. milk
    butter
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Strain tomatoes through a strainer.
    Place over medium heat and heat through.
    Add baking soda.
    When juice ceases to foam, add milk, butter, salt and pepper.
