Unique Pretzels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. warm water
    1 pkg. yeast
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    4 c. flour
    1 egg, beaten
    sesame seed or coarse salt
Preparation
    Measure warm water into large mixing bowl.
    Sprinkle on yeast; stir until it looks soft.
    Add sugar, salt and flour; mix and knead dough until soft and no longer sticky.
    Take a small ball of dough the size of an egg.
    Roll the dough between the palms of your hands or on the table top until it is as long as a snake. Twist the snake into a pretzel, letters, numbers or any shape. Grease cookie sheets.
    Place twisted pretzels or designs on cookie sheets.
    Brush pretzels with beaten egg; sprinkle with sesame seed or coarse salt.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden.
    Let cool.
