Grandma Rachel Hernandez' Fish Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. halibut steaks
    1 c. cornmeal
    12 eggs
    1 c. water
    nonstick spray
    oil
Preparation
    Put steaks in a large frying pan with 1 cup water to steam. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook until fish turns white, about 20 to 25 minutes.
    It should flake apart and crumble. Shred fish. Put in a large bowl to cool.
    Pick out bones.
    In another large bowl, put eggs and beat until fluffy.
    Add cornmeal. Spray frying pan with Pam and oil; heat.
    Plop 1 heaping serving spoonful and fry approximately 1 minute on each side or until golden brown.
