Sliced Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 large sweet potatoes, cooked, peeled and sliced
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 stick creamery butter
    double crust made of biscuit dough
    1/4 c. water (or more)
Preparation
    In a covered saucepan, boil sweet potatoes in a little water until tender.
    Let cool.
    Peel and slice potatoes.
    Place in oblong baking dish, which has been covered with a crust.
    Sprinkle sugar, ginger and water over potatoes.
    Dot with butter.
    Roll out another crust and place on top, making slits so that steam can escape.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until crust is brown on top, 25 to 30 minutes.
