Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 oz. red food color
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cream Crisco, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Add cocoa and red food color; mix well.
    Add flour and buttermilk; mix well.
    Mix soda and vinegar in small bowl.
    Add to batter and blend well.
    Bake in 3 eight-inch or standard cake pans at 350\u00b0 for approximately 25 minutes.
    Let cool and frost.
