Marmalade Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    2 c. heavy cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. orange marmalade
Preparation
    In a small saucepan, bring sugar and water to a full boil, stirring constantly.
    Stir in lemon juice and refrigerate until cold.
    In a large mixer bowl, gradually whisk lemon syrup into cream.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Beat at medium speed until stiff. (Lemon syrup and vanilla may be folded into small carton of Cool Whip.)
    Fold in orange marmalade.
