Green Tomato Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 gal. green tomatoes, quartered
    1/2 gal. onions, cut into wedges
    1/2 qt. hot pepper, sliced thin
    1 1/2 qt. vinegar
    6 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Put all ingredients in large pot.
    Cook until it changes color.
    Fill jars and seal.
    Process in hot water bath for 10 minutes.
