Hot German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes, cubed
    4 medium onions, sliced
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    3 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    2 strips bacon, diced
Preparation
    Fry bacon.
    Saute onions in bacon grease until soft; drain. Boil cubed potatoes until tender.
    Drain potatoes and add all ingredients.
    Simmer, stirring occasionally.
    May be served hot or cold.
