Baked Whitefish With Shrimp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 whitefish fillets (1 1/2 lb.)
2 Tbsp. butter
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. whipping cream
8 oz. small cooked shrimp
3/4 c. shredded Provolone and Mozzarella cheese
chopped fresh basil or parsley
lemon wedges for serving
Preparation

Rinse fish.
Pat dry.
With tweezers, pull out visible bones from ridge of fillets.
Melt butter in shallow baking dish.
Place fillets in pan.
Sprinkle with lemon juice and salt.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes until the fish flakes easily.
Pour cream into a saucepan.
Heat to boiling.
Simmer until reduced to about 3/4 cup.
Sprinkle shrimp over baked fish.
Pour hot cream evenly over all.
Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Broil 3 to 4 inches from heat until the cheese is melted.
Sprinkle with chopped basil or parsley.
Serve with lemon wedges.
