Fresh Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh fruit, sliced (if needed)
    2 c. granulated sugar
    1 stick butter or margarine
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. milk
    dash of salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Toss fruit lightly with 1 cup of the sugar.
    Set aside.
    Melt butter in deep baking pan or glass dish in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Stir together remaining sugar, flour, baking powder, milk and salt; pour over melted butter.
    Do not stir!
    Put sweetened fruit on top of batter.
    Do not stir!
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until crust is golden brown.
    (The batter will rise to the top during baking.) Makes 6 to 8 servings.
