Onion Cornbread Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 to 4 c. chopped onions
1/4 c. melted margarine
1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. creamed corn
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. salad oil
dash of hot pepper (optional)
1 c. sour cream
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cook onions in melted margarine.
Mix remaining ingredients together, but reserve half of the cheese. Add cooked onions.
Pour into well-greased casserole dish.
Top with cheese.
Bake for about 30 minutes.
