Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or oleo
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 unbeaten egg
1/3 c. peanut butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. quick rolled oats
Preparation

Cream butter and sugars together.
Beat in egg, then peanut butter.
Add vanilla.
Add sifted flour, soda and salt along with the oats.
Bake in 13 x 9-inch ungreased pans at 325\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
