Shrimp Fra Diavob - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. large shrimp
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
1 Tbsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. garlic powder
approximately 1 c. flour
4 oz. olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
4 oz. red wine
4 oz. clam juice
1 qt. marinara sauce
hot cooked linguini
Preparation

Mix the dry spices together and sprinkle on the shrimp. Lightly coat shrimp with flour.
Saute coated shrimp and minced garlic in a frying pan using olive oil.
After 2 minutes, add wine and continue to cook over medium heat, reducing liquid by one half.
Add clam juice, then fold in the marinara sauce.
Simmer for a few minutes.
Serve over hot pasta.
Serves 4.
