Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick oleo
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    5 egg yolks
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. coconut
    1 c. pecans
    5 egg whites, beaten stiff
Preparation
    Cream oleo, Crisco and sugar.
    Add egg yolks.
    Sift flour; mix 1 cup buttermilk and 1 teaspoon soda (let it work).
    Alternate flour and milk to other ingredients.
    Fold in beaten egg whites, nuts, coconut and vanilla.
