14 Carat Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. salad oil
    4 eggs
    2 c. grated carrots
    1 (8 1/2 oz.) can pineapple (crushed), drained
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
    Add sugar, salad oil and eggs.
    Mix well. Add carrots, pineapple, nuts and coconut. Blend thoroughly.
    Pour into a
    13 x 9-inch layer pan that is greased and floured. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 or 40 minutes. Remove from oven and cool. Fill layers and frost top and sides with Cream Cheese Frosting.
