Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. spareribs
    4 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. brown sugar
    4 Tbsp. flour
    3/4 c. cider vinegar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. water
    chopped garlic and ginger
Preparation
    Mix the soy sauce, salt, 4 tablespoons brown sugar and flour. Marinate ribs in the mixture for half an hour or longer.
    Fry the ribs in oil until brown.
    Add remaining ingredients and let meat simmer until tender.
    Slice turnips and carrots thinly and let stand in a little salt.
    Add to the spareribs before serving.
