Holiday Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. potatoes, cooked for mashing
    1/4 lb. (1 stick) butter
    1/2 c. whole milk
    1 tsp. salt
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1/2 c. sour cream
    2 eggs, well beaten
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    In a large mixer bowl, mash potatoes until smooth.
    Add cream cheese in small pieces, and butter and beat well until cheese and butter are melted.
    Add sour cream to milk and egg mixture with the salt and pepper, add to potato mixture and beat until fluffy. Place in a 9-inch greased casserole and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
    Bake, uncovered, in a preheated oven at 350\u00b0 until lightly browned.
    Serve hot.
    Serves 8 to 12 people.
