Festive Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. macaroni
    4 carrots, grated
    1 small red onion, separated in rings
    1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
    2 Tbsp. snipped fresh dill
    1 head lettuce (romaine)
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, thawed
    1/2 lb. cooked, cubed ham
    1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
    2 hard-boiled eggs, cut into wedges
Preparation
    Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and cool. Wash and thoroughly drain lettuce; tear into bite size pieces. Arrange in an even layer in the bottom of a large dish.
    Arrange carrots in an even layer over lettuce.
    Add layer of macaroni, peas, onion and ham.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
