Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 medium potatoes
    1 onion, sliced
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    3/4 stick margarine
    1/2 c. milk
    1 3/4 c. grated cheese
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Peel and slice potatoes thin.
    Place potatoes in baking dish, then put the onion over potatoes; salt and pepper and make another layer of each if necessary.
    Add margarine.
    Combine mushroom soup and milk; pour over layers.
    Bake for 1 hour in 450\u00b0 oven.
    Remove from oven.
    Add cheese on top.
