Butter Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. soft butter
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1 c. black walnuts
Preparation
    Beat together butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until fluffy. Beat 5 minutes on high.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Mix dry ingredients alternately with milk.
    Fold walnuts into batter.
    Bake in layers or 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
