Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. shortening
    1/2 c. milk
    pinch of salt
    flavoring of your choice
    3 to 5 c. flour (plain)
    3 level tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream the sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs and mix well.
    Add 3 cups flour (mixed with baking powder and salt) alternately with milk.
    Add enough flour to make batter stiff enough to roll.
    Roll on floured board.
    Cut out and place on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until brown.
