Microwaved "Baked" Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    apples
    1 small vanilla instant pudding
    1 c. loosely packed brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. water
    butter or margarine
Preparation
    Wash, then partially peel and core apples.
    Cut each into 6 to 8 wedges.
    Stir in pudding and brown sugar.
    Pour into baking dish with lid.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon.
    Drizzle with water and dot with butter.
    Cook on High for about 20 minutes.
    Stir; if any apples are still firm, cook a few more minutes until done. Delicious with vanilla ice cream!
