Christmas Twist - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. butter
    1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
    3/4 c. sour cream
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Crumble first 4 ingredients with pie fork.
    Stir yeast into flour and sour cream (you can whip cream). Add 1 egg and vanilla. Knead the bread dough. Cover with a damp cloth and chill for 2+ hours.
