Creamed Carrot Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. chicken broth
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 c. cut up carrots
1 Tbsp. snipped parsley
1/2 tsp. basil
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
dash of white pepper and salt
Preparation

In saucepan, combine broth, onion, carrots and seasonings. Bring to a boil; simmer until tender.
In blender, blend cooked mixture until smooth.
In separate saucepan, melt butter.
Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
Add milk; stir until thickened.
Add vegetable puree.
