Shepherd'S Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburg
    6 to 7 carrots, cleaned and sliced
    6 potatoes, prepared as mashed potatoes
Preparation
    Brown the hamburg.
    Precook the vegetables.
    Line a casserole dish, coated with butter or margarine, with layer of mashed potatoes, a layer of the ground and browned beef, then a layer of the prepared carrots.
    Repeat these layers (potatoes, beef and carrots).
    Cover with remaining mashed potatoes.
    Dot with bits of butter or margarine.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 425\u00b0, enough to heat it through.
