Plum Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 prune plums, cut in half and seeded
    3/4 to 1 c. sugar
    1 stick butter
    2 eggs
    1 c. flour, sifted
    1 tsp. baking powder
    sugar
    cinnamon
    lemon juice
Preparation
    Cream together butter and sugar.
    Add eggs and beat.
    Sift together flour and baking powder and add to butter mixture. Spread mixture into the bottom of a spring-form pan.
    Place plum halves skin side up evenly around on top of mixture.
    Sprinkle with a little sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
