Spaghetti Sauce To Can - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 bushel tomatoes
    3 lb. chopped onions
    1 hot pepper, chopped
    4 sweet peppers, chopped
    1 c. vegetable oil
    2 Tbsp. sweet basil
    2 Tbsp. oregano
    2 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salt
    2 Tbsp. minced garlic
    4 large (18 oz.) cans tomato paste
Preparation
    Peel and dice tomatoes.
    Add all ingredients, except tomato paste.
    Cook 2 hours.
    Add tomato paste.
    Bring to a boil.
    Pour into scalded jars and seal.
    Yields 12 to 14 quarts.
