Seafoam Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 c. water
Preparation
    In top of double boiler, combine egg whites, sugar, syrup and water.
    Heat one minute to combine ingredients.
    Cook over rapidly boiling water, beating constantly, about 7 minutes or until stiff peaks form.
    Remove from boiling water, add vanilla and continue beating until thick enough to spread.
    Good on spice cakes.
