Date-Nut Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. dates, chopped
1 lb. pecans, chopped
4 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. plain flour
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Beat eggs until very light.
Add sugar and vanilla.
Dredge nuts and dates with cup of sifted flour.
Fold into egg mixture. Add salt.
Bake in loaf pans at 300\u00b0 until done.
