Marguerite'S Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. milk, scalded
6 eggs
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. butter flavoring
Preparation

Beat eggs until yolks and whites are blended.
Add sugar, cornstarch, salt and flavorings.
Mix thoroughly.
Add milk slowly, stirring constantly.
Pour into pastry-lined 10-inch pie pan and bake at 400\u00b0 until an inserted knife comes out clean.
