Stromboli Sandwiches - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground sausage
1 lb. ground beef
15 oz. tomato sauce
1 large onion (optional)
1 green bell pepper (optional)
1 Tbsp. oregano
1 Tbsp. sweet basil
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. chili powder
Mozzarella cheese
French bread, hoagie buns, or steak buns
Preparation

Brown beef and sausage; drain grease.
Add remaining ingredients.
Heat until thoroughly hot.
Spread on bottom half of bun, sprinkle Mozzarella cheese on top of mixture and place other half of bun on top.
Wrap in foil; bake 10 minutes at 400\u00b0.
(Can be done in microwave.)
