Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. flour
3 eggs, separated
4 c. milk
6 oz. frozen coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
2 pie shells, baked
pinch of cream of tartar
8 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Mix flour and sugar together.
Stir in milk and beaten egg yolks.
Cook over low heat until thickened.
Add coconut and vanilla, stir and put into pie shells.
Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff.
Add sugar and beat until soft peak forms. Spread meringue over top and bake at 425\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
