Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    2 cans cherry pie filling
    4 bananas
    2 cans chunk pineapple
    2 large pkg. vanilla pudding and pie filling
    1 large bowl Cool Whip
    1/2 c. crushed pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Cook cake mix according to directions on box.
    Prepare pudding according to directions on box.
    After cake cools, crumble enough cake in bottom of punch bowl to cover it.
    Then top with cherry pie filling, pineapple and then bananas.
    Pour enough pudding on top to cover.
    Continue repeating layers until all gone.
    End with Cool Whip.
    Sprinkle with nuts.
