Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. margarine
    4 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    finely chopped nuts (if desired)
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar.
    Add eggs and beat well; add vanilla.
    Combine flour, soda and salt.
    Fold into margarine mixture.
    Roll on floured board or roll it in your hand and flatten.
    Cook at 350\u00b0 for about 12 minutes.
    I like them better without nuts.
