Ingredients

1 lb. butter
4 c. not sifted flour
6 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. walnuts or pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter, add flour gradually.
Add sugar, nuts and flavoring.
Press into shapes.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes until light brown.
Press into powdered sugar while warm.
